Macron will be interviewed by journalists from private television TF1 and France 2 public television on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. (1200 GMT), both channels said.
The law that establishes the retirement age at 64 years, two more than at present, was approved on Monday after the failure in Parliament of two motions of censure, one of them by just nine votes.
The failure of the motions of censure and the adoption of the reform sparked spontaneous demonstrations on Monday night in numerous cities in France.
In the protests there were incidents and the police arrested almost 300 people, of which 234 in Paris.
