You have to cross the river through a provisional passage because the rest of the bridges are sunken. Mounted in a military 4×4, a ‘Humvee’, from the town of Makiivka to Torske, the war does not stop offering evidence: Russian tanks, marked ‘Z’, have been rendered completely useless in the ditches. The towns that this route crosses are uninhabited, because this area is no longer a place to survive.

Our team has managed, together with the Bohun Brigade, to reach the province of Lugansk, as it reads on the entrance sign. Only 1% of this territory is under Ukrainian control. His troops take refuge in shelters like this, they call them “Invincibility Points”, inside, the soldiers try to regain strength.
