the multinational Volkswagen will pay its 100,000 employees in Germany under the collective agreement a bonus of 3,629.50 euros gross as participation in the profit of 2022 (3,000 euros for 2021), the German automobile group reported this Wednesday.
The Director of Personnel, Gunnar Kilian, reported today that employees have already received 1,729.50 euros gross with their salary in November 2022 and that the remaining 1,900 euros will be paid in May.
VW gave its employees a bonus of 2,700 euros for 2020, the year of the pandemic, and 4,950 euros for 2019.
The bonus is mainly oriented to the operating result of the VW brand and the VW commercial vehicles brand, which will be published on March 14.
Employees of the factories in Wolfsburg, Hannover, Emden, Salzgitter, Braunschweig and Kassel covered by the collective agreement and employees of financial services receive the bonus.
