Klitschko explained that, due to the missile attack, emergency power cuts have been carried out and that “currently around 15% of consumers are without power.”

In addition, the Ukrainian nuclear company Energoatom has confirmed that the nuclear power plant in Zaporizhia is without power. “Right now the station has gone into blackout mode for the sixth time during the occupation. The head of the Military Administration of OdessaMaksym Marchenko, has confirmed that Russian missiles have hit the region’s energy infrastructure, as well as residential buildings.

“Fortunately, there were no casualties. Power supply restrictions are currently in effect. According to the results of the air defense units, missiles have been shot down. Work continues, the second wave is expected at this time, so I ask the residents of the region to stay in the shelters,” he wrote on his Telegram account.
