A taxi driver prevents a massacre by detecting a terrorist attack at the entrance to a Liverpool maternity hospital

The brave performance of a taxi driver has prevented a massacre in the UK. It all started when he picked up a passenger near a Liverpool hospital.

According to the British media, the man directed his destination to Liverpool Cathedral, where hundreds of people celebrated the day of remembrance for the victims of the First World War. When the streets were closed, she asked to change course and chose the Liverpool Women’s Hospital, a birthing center.

The taxi driver became suspicious and, according to local media, closed the doors of his vehicle thus preventing the alleged terrorist from detonating the bomb inside the building. The Hospital security camera captured the entire scene. Images are key to research, since they would demonstrate that it is a terrorist attack.

In them you can see how the taxi explodes before stopping at the entrance of the building. From the inside, the driver manages to get out, trying to get to safety in the arms of a downtown worker before the car starts to burn. The passenger died instantly.

David Perry, the taxi driver, only suffered minor injuries and has already been discharged. The police investigation continues, and four people have already been arrested between 20 and 29 years old related to the explosion, although the motivations for this new terrorist attack are still unknown.
