Bruce Willis: his fortune and the highest-grossing films of the actor diagnosed with dementia | PHOTOS

Bruce Willisthe blockbuster actor leaves behind a long career with more than 100 films that helped him amass, at the time, a fortune that exceeded more than US$ 250 million according to specialized media.

The family of the main character Hard to Kill announced this Thursday, February 16, that the American actor was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. The news comes a year after he retired from cinema for health problems. The 67-year-old actor had been diagnosed with aphasia, however, now there is a more specific result.

“Unfortunately, communication challenges are one of the symptoms of the disease that Bruce faces. Although this is painful, it is a relief for us to have a clear diagnosis.”, wrote the family on social networks.

Forbes magazine reported in March that Willis’s greatest financial success came in 1999 with the film Sixth Sense. For that film, they were going to pay him US$ 14 million – the outlet mentioned – but since he also managed a percentage of the film’s profits, the actor ended up with $100 million“the second highest figure earned by an actor in Hollywood history behind only Keanu Reeves’ $156 million for two Matrix movies.”

The actor had until the beginning of 2022 with at least four mansions and other properties, some located on the beach in the Turks and Caicos Islands, New Yok, Beverly Hills and SUn Valley. He got rid of some after the preliminary diagnosis he received last year.
