Moscow blocks access routes for arms supplies sent to Ukraine

Moscow has confirmed the blockade of the access routes to the supplies directed to the zones of the hostilities, although it has not specified exactly where the rail transport has been interrupted. In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense has also confirmed in its daily military bulletin the “massive attack” that took place during the day of February 10a missile and drone offensive again aimed at damaging Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.

From Moscow they have declared that all the targets that supply the military industry and the transport system in Ukraine have been hit, something that, however, is contradicted by the Ukrainian authorities, who claim to have shot down most of the missiles and drones. In this sense, Kyiv has confirmed the new attack by Moscow against critical infrastructures in eastern Ukraine, which has caused power outages in up to 150,000 homes and has injured eight people.

The military governor of Kharkov, Oleh Synehubov, has stated through Telegram that at least eight people were injured after the attack, which were repairing the damage caused by a previous attack. All of them have been hospitalized, of which two are in serious condition.

Since the middle of last October, Russia has directed its attacks against energy facilities Ukraine, a strategy that has caused power cuts in the dead of winter and affected millions of Ukrainians. For his part, the President of Ukraine, Volodimir Zelenski, continues his insistence on the Western allies to send more weapons in order to stop the Russian invasion, which will be one year old in two weeks.
