At least one person has died this Thursday from a shooting around times squarein the American city of New York.
The Fatal victim is a 22-year-old who died after being shot in the chest and, according to the Police, quoted by ‘The New York Times‘, no more injuries have been reported.
Although the victim was alive when the agents found him at the scene of the event, he finally died in the nearby hospital to which he was transferred.
The Police have surrounded the area and started an investigation to find the whereabouts of two suspectsas reported by the aforementioned newspaper.
According to the newspaper, the shooting took place near a fast food restaurant during rush hour in the afternoon, around 5:30 p.m. local time.
The incident occurred in one of the most popular shopping and tourist areas of Manhattan, very close to the iconic Times Square, which was precisely declared firearms free zone last September, as we tell here:
