Ukraine denounces a massive Russian drone attack

Ukrainian electricity operator Ukrenergo said on Friday that “unfortunately, several high-voltage infrastructures were affected in the eastern, western and southern regions, causing power outages in some areas”, according to AFP.

The Russians “attacked power plants and transmission system facilities”the operator said in its statement. “Emergency preventive blackouts are being applied,” he added, a measure that would prevent an overload of the national electrical system.
