The American is accused of the femicide of Trespalacios that occurred on January 22. He would have murdered her in the apartment that they both recently shared and then dumped her body inside a dumpster.

After this, the American traveled to Panama and then went to Turkey, however, he could be detained at the Tocumen airport and expelled to Colombia.

In recent days, a photograph that Poulos uploaded in 2022 has been disseminated. Through a Twitter account, which would belong to him, he responded about what was the craziest thing he had done on a first date.

He replied that he invited a Colombian on vacation without knowing her and that now they were going to get married, this accompanied by a photograph with Trespalacios in what would appear to be Mexico. The post corresponds to December 2022.

Poulos’ ex-partner, with whom he had several children, revealed that he was abusive after 12 years of marriage.

In 2017, he carried out a fundraising campaign because one of his children had cancer. The couple finally separated in 2021.

The judge declared that Poulos is a danger to society and that his imprisonment will reduce “to a greater extent the possibility of reiteration of femicides indirectly, preventing other acts of concealment, alteration or destruction of material evidence.” (YO)
