The war in Ukraine continues to leave us with images that shock, overwhelm and move. The latter have to do withStephanie‘, the song that has become an anthem for Ukrainian citizens and for the resistance against Putin’s troops.
In the video we see some tributes that soldiers have made to the song that won the Eurovision Song Contest. Kalush Orchestra published the video clip of the song once the contest was over, leaving shocking images of mothers saving children from war.
“Stefania, mom, the field blooms, and you get gray hair. Sing me a lullaby, I still want to hear your loving words,” the song begins, a tribute to the country’s mothers in their darkest days.
The images of the video show Bucha, Irpin, Hostomel and Borodyanka. “If Stefania is now the anthem of the war, I want her to become the anthem of our victory‘ picks up the group.
