There has been a lot of talk about Cracovia in recent days. This week we reported that the city of Krakow was selling shares in the club. It is to go entirely into private hands (more ). Stefan Majewski is vice-president of Cracovia. At one time, fans demanded his release

The portal reported that Stefan Majewski was promoted to the position of vice-president of Cracovia. From October 2021, after leaving PZPN, the former Polish representative served as sports director. Majewski is one of prof. Janusz Filipiak, president of the club. The change seemed to be a matter of time after former vice-president Jakub Tabisz was removed from work in late November due to suspicions of causing damage to the PZPN in the amount of over PLN 1 million and money laundering.

The new vice-president had already worked at Kałuża in the past. In the years 2006-2008 he was the coach of this club and led it to the fourth place in the first league in the first season. The second one looked bad. In the first 10 rounds, Cracovia suffered as many as five defeats and managed to win only once. For several weeks, the fans demanded the dismissal of the coach, singing, among others, “Today is Saturday, Majewski, pack your laptop!”, but prof. Janusz Filipiak remained adamant. When the team finally fell to the last place in the table, the president decided to end cooperation with the coach.

This is not the only change in Cracovia in the last several hours. There have also been changes in the coaching staff. Mirosław Kalita became the new coach of the third-league reserves, and Wojciech Ankowski, who had been leading the second team of Cracovia so far, replaced Wojciech Stawowy in the U-19 team.

Last Monday, Filip Trubalski, who had previously been the team manager, was appointed deputy sports director.
