250 migrants crammed inside a trailer in Mexico are rescued alive



The National Institute of Migration of Mexico (INM) has reported the discovery of 250 irregular migrants who were crowded inside a trailer as it passes through the state of Chiapas, in the south of the country.

The Mexican authorities have carried out the humanitarian rescue of people, all of foreign nationality, when the vehicle was traveling on the Chiapa de Corzo international highway, near the Mexico-Guatemala border, according to a statement from the INM.

“With the support of the National Guard of Mexico and authorities of the three levels of governmentthe INM of Chiapas has carried out the humanitarian rescue of around 250 foreign people who were traveling crowded inside a trailer on the Chiapa de Corzo international highway,” the letter wields.

Until now The place to which the migrants have been taken has not been disclosed nor the exact detail of their origins.
