Hertz will offer 25,000 electric vehicles for drivers of uber in Europe between now and 2025, the two companies announced Tuesday in a joint statement.
The first cars will be available in London from January. Then follow Paris, Amsterdam and other major European cities.
Brand models Tesla Y Polestara subsidiary of Swedish Volvo and from Chinese geelywill be part of the new fleet offered for rent by Hertz.

The rental company hopes to have a quarter of its vehicles with electric motors by the end of 2024. In recent months it has closed deals to buy 100,000 Tesla and 65,000 Polestar vehicles.
Uber said its goal is to have only electric vehicles in Europe and North America by 2030.
