Bolt is one of 30 victims whose investments in SSL they were allegedly watered down by a wealthy adviser.
The fraud could have reached US$1.2 billion.
In view of this, the Jamaican Police reported last Thursday that it had launched an investigation into the alleged disappearance of millions of dollars from an account belonging to Bolt in SSL.

The same day, SSL admitted in a statement that he was “aware that fraudulent activity by a former employee of the company”.
