The dictator Maduro tries to kidnap the opposition leader Juan Guaidó

The Venezuelan dictatorship has surrounded the home of Juan Guaidó in Caracas and has tried to kidnap the opposition leader. The wife of the president in charge of Venezuela has denounced that hooded men with long weapons «They are in the basement of my house surrounding the truck»Where is President Juan Guaidó.

After moments of tension, Guaidó himself has left his home on his own feet. According to the Venezuelan opposition leader, the kidnapping attempt to which he has been subjected has ended when the media present near his home have reported the presence of the military.

Guaidó himself has explained: “Thanks to the media they have not been able to kidnap me, not like Freddy Guevara”, but he assures that the driver of his vehicle has been “tied up” and even “a small explosive” has been detonated in garage. Dozens of journalists have broadcast practically live the movements carried out by the command sent by the Chavista regime.

The house of the opposition leader to the Chavista regime of Nicolás Maduro has been filled with armed and hooded men. Guaidó and his family have been detained but, given the repercussion that the action has begun to have, those in charge of the kidnapping have withdrawn, leaving the family free.

But Guaidó has emerged unscathed, not so Freddy Guevara. Nicolás Maduro’s henchmen have also hunted down one of Guaidó’s closest collaborators, Freddy Guevara. He himself has broadcast from his car how Maduro’s forces have tried to kidnap him on the Caracas highway. For the moment, the whereabouts of Guevara, who Guaidó himself places in the hands of the Chavista Faes, is unknown.

This operation of the Venezuelan regime coincides with the protests that have been unleashed in Cuba, where thousands of people have taken to the streets to demand freedom and the end of the dictatorship. In fact, Guaidó has just proposed a National Salvation Agreement for Venezuela, mediated by the international community. At this point, harassment by the regime is understood as a form of pressure so that Venezuelans do not take to the streets, following the example that has been lived in Cuba.
