The property tax in Quito began to be paid on January 1, 2023. This value is a rate that applies to any natural and legal person who owns one or more properties in Ecuador. The property tax in Ecuador is a charge made by all municipalities for the space occupied in cities and rural areas.

Payment options

The citizens may make the property payment in banks, cooperatives, mutuals and payment auxiliaries, with those who have more than 2,000 windows. They can also do so through electronic banking, from each institution.
