“World War I claimed millions of lives, World War II tens of millions, there will be no third world war. not a trilogy“said Zelensky, who stressed that Ukraine will stop the Russian aggression.
“I hope that all of you are with us on our victory day,” the Ukrainian president asserted, while urging the spectators and those attending the ceremony to tell “the truth” on their social networks and on television.
Zelensky was introduced to the gala by the actor Sean Pennwho made a visibly emotional speech.
