A Belgian court of first instance has decided to uphold preventive prison to Greek MEP Eva Kailiaccused by membership in criminal organization, corruption Y money laundering in an alleged bribery scheme in the European Parliament linked to Qatar and Morocco.

Also his Greek lawyer, Michalis Dimitrakopoulos, has defended his innocence after visiting his client the day before the hearing in the Harem prison. Kaili has been there since her arrest on December 9 by the Belgian police.
