For this reason, Ecuadorians only require a residence permit that they obtain upon arrival in Qatar and lasts 30 days from the date of issue. This permission can be extended to 60 days. To apply, you need a copy of your passport (with a minimum validity of six months) and details of your return (or subsequent) journey, reports the Visit Qatar website.
In addition, Ecuador is on the green list of countries that are allowed to enter Qatar due to its low risk of contagion from COVID-19. Visitors no longer need to undergo PCR or antigen tests to enter the country, but if they become infected during their stay they must isolate themselves and follow the indicated protocol.
