LinkedIn has enabled a creator mode, a profile setting in the dashboard to help increase the reach and influence of its users.

Creator mode provides profile changes. For example, the Connect button on your profile will change to Follow and your number of followers will be displayed.

Also, when someone sends you a connection request after activating Creator mode, they will also follow you while waiting for your response. Even if you decline their invitation, they will follow your posts until they manually unfollow them.

Also, you can display the topics you post about in your profile intro as hashtags. This will make it easier for other LinkedIn members to discover your content and follow you.

The social network will also highlight your original content on their profile.

This mode will also make you a featured creator on LinkedIn, so potential followers can find you and your content.

Also, if you meet the access criteria, you can get access to authoring tools, such as LinkedIn Live or LinkedIn Newsletter. Plus, you’ll have access to creator analytics, which will show you how your portfolio content is performing over time.

Steps to activate the mode for content creators:

1. Click on the icon Meat the top of your LinkedIn home page.
   
2. click on View profile.
   
3. scroll down Means and click Mode Creator: Off.
   
4. click Following in the Creator Mode Preview popup.
   
5. add themes (hashtags) to indicate the topics you post about the most.
   
6. click on Finalized.
   
7. Follow the prompts to turn on content creator mode.
   

To edit your hashtags or to disable creator mode:

1. Click on the icon Me at the top of your LinkedIn home page.
   
2. click on View profile.
   
3. scroll down Means and click Creator Mode: On.
   
4. From here you can:

   – Click the button on the left to disable the mode for content creators.
   – Click on add themes to add new topics.

5. click on Save.

1. Tap your profile picture, then tap View profile.
   
2. scroll down Means and touch the Creator mode: Off.
   
3. tap on Following in the preview popup.
   
4. touch add themes (hashtags) to indicate the topics you post about the most.
