Apple has declared iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 2 tablets obsolete

Apple has moved two iPads to the list of obsolete products. This is reported by Appleinsider.

Media journalists noted that the American company has declared the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 2 obsolete. Apple devices are obsolete devices that have been five or more years old since they were removed from sales. According to experts, this means that the company’s authorized service centers may refuse to repair these tablets if the necessary spare parts are not available in the warehouse.

The authors of the material noticed that the iPad Air 2 presented in 2014 was notable for being the brand’s first tablet with a Touch ID fingerprint sensor. The device turned out to be the second such device in the Apple line – after the iPhone 5s released in the fall of 2013. Popular in 2013, the iPad mini 2 was the first compact tablet to feature a Retina display. Also, the device came out with an improved FaceTime HD camera.

At the end of February, Bloomberg sources reported that the Apple Watch 3, Apple’s most affordable smart watch, would be deprecated. The device will be on the list of rare devices after the announcement of the Apple Watch 8.
