Pedant: Russians often took Samsung, Xiaomi and Huawei smartphones for repair
Russians used phone repair services more often in the first months of the year. It is reported by Gazeta.ru.
As told to journalists in the Pedant network, since February, the number of orders in service centers for repairing smartphones of all brands has increased by 31 percent. Experts also named the most frequently repaired smartphones – brands Samsung, Xiaomi and Huawei. It is clarified that most often residents of Moscow, Samara, St. Petersburg, Chelyabinsk and Yekaterinburg applied to the service.
In addition, experts listed the most frequent breakdowns with which consumers took devices to service centers. It turned out that the most requested services were the replacement of the battery and speakers.
At the end of April, Apple launched a self-repair program for its equipment in the United States. At the time of the launch of Self Service Repair, spare parts and instructions for repairing iPhone 12, iPhone 13 and iPhone SE third generation smartphones are available.
