After analyzing the cost of spare parts, the journalists found that most often repairing a device in a service center (SC) is cheaper and easier than servicing the device on your own.

“The self-repair program does not appear to offer significant savings in the most common type of iPhone service — a cracked screen,” experts said. It turned out that replacing the iPhone 13 display will cost $ 280 in the SC, while for self-replacement you need to buy a kit worth $ 270. Apple also recommends a $108 heat gun, a $216 press, and a $256 display remover for front panel repairs.
