Vivo has released a folding smartphone X Fold for 115 thousand rubles
Vivo has unveiled its first foldable smartphone, the X Fold. This is reported by the publication Android Authority.
Released by a Chinese company, the device consists of two halves connected by a hinge. As a protective measure for the flexible display, the manufacturer has provided an ultra-thin glass that covers the screen. The external screen has a 6.53-inch OLED-matrix with a resolution of 2520×1080 pixels and a frequency of 120 hertz. The internal LTPO OLED display has an 8.03-inch diagonal with a resolution of 2160×1916 pixels and a frequency of 120 hertz.

The company clarified that the protective glass significantly increases the life of the folding screen. According to Vivo, the device is designed for 300,000 folds, which is equivalent to folding and unfolding the device 80 times a day for 10 years. The cost of the brand’s first folding device starts at 8,999 yuan, or about 115,000 rubles.
Vio X Fold is based on the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The device also received 12 gigabytes of RAM and 256 gigabytes of internal memory. On the back of the device is the main camera with lenses with a resolution of 50, 48 and 12 megapixels. The phone came out with a 5,000 milliamp-hour battery.
The cost of the basic version of the device with 12 gigabytes of RAM and 256 gigabytes of internal memory is 8,999 yuan. The version with 512 gigabytes of internal memory is priced at 9,999 yuan (almost 128,000 rubles). Sales of the gadget will start in China.
