Samsung Galaxy 22 Ultra users complain about GPS issues

Some users of the new Samsung flagship have noted problems with the global positioning system on their devices. This is reported by the Dutch edition of AndroidWorld.

Media journalists drew attention to the complaints of the owners of the Samsung Galaxy 22 Ultra, who said that GPS does not work on their devices. Judging by the messages on the official forum of the company, system breakdowns occur immediately when the device is turned on for the first time or after a day.

Users have complained that the problem is almost impossible to fix, sending a bug report to Samsung does not help. In some cases, the problem is solved by resetting the network settings or completely resetting the device. According to the authors, the problem affected a fairly large number of smartphones.

“This is inconvenient, for example, when you want to use Google Maps or Tinder: applications that are directly related to GPS,” the journalists noted. Apparently, the company should respond to the problems and release an update that fixes the error.

In mid-March, Samsung acknowledged the Dirty Pipe vulnerability, which allows attackers to break into encrypted information on Galaxy smartphones. Among the affected devices were the Galaxy S22 flagships.
