The new iPhone SE received increased RAM
Introduced in early March, the iPhone SE received increased RAM. It is reported by MacRumors.
Apple has traditionally not released the exact details of its devices. Media specialists revealed the characteristics with the help of a new version of the Xcode software. It turned out that the new affordable smartphone received four gigabytes of RAM. The previous model, released in the spring of 2020, was equipped with three gigabytes of RAM. Based on these data, the journalists concluded that the new device can be faster than the old gadget by about 30 percent.
According to experts, the increased RAM will allow the smartphone to perform various operations faster. The extra RAM will also help more apps and pages loaded in the Safari browser stay active in the background.
The new iPhone SE will be available for pre-order starting March 11 in the US, Australia, Canada, China, France, and more. Whether the smartphone will be officially sold in Russia is still unknown.
Apple introduced an updated version of the iPhone SE at the presentation on March 8. The device received a 4.7-inch IPS screen, an Apple A15 Bionic chip with 5G support, and a single camera. The phone was priced at $429.
