The Japanese company Nintendo has suspended deliveries of its products to Russia – game consoles, such as the Nintendo Switch, and software. It is reported by TASS.
As noted, this decision is due to the disruption of supply chains and problems with payment due to the sanctions that were imposed on Russia after the start of a special operation in Ukraine.
Earlier it was reported that the video game subsidiary of the Sony Group, Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) will suspend shipments to the Russian Federation and the operation of the PlayStation Store. “Sony’s PlayStation division says it has suspended shipments of all software and hardware to Russia. The PlayStation Store will also no longer be available in the country.
In March, Take-Two announced the suspension of sales and support for its products in Russia and Belarus. The firm owns popular game series, including GTA, Red Dead, Max Payne, Civilization, Mafia and other game lines.
