The delivery dates for the new generation of Sony consoles in Russia are unknown. This is stated in the M.Video community in the M.Game group on VKontakte.
According to representatives of the retailer, at the moment in many Russian stores you can freely purchase the Xbox Series S consoles. “Regular versions of the Xbox Series X are expected soon, we will write about this additionally,” the message says.
At the same time, the company could not say when the PlayStation 5 consoles will be on sale. When asked by the user whether to wait for the PS5 until November 11, representatives of the M.video network replied that they did not have specific dates and could not predict the delivery time devices. From this, visitors to the community concluded that the shortage of consoles will continue for some time.
“In November, PS5 will not be enough, but in December before the holidays it will not really be taken at all,” noted user Artem Malyshev. Gamers suggested that at the end of the year, Sony consoles can only be purchased from dealers for at least 90 thousand rubles.
The shortage of next-generation consoles has been observed since the consoles went on sale in November 2020. Since April 1, the basic version of the PlayStation 5 has risen in price from 46,990 to 49,990 rubles, the digital – from 37,990 to 40,990 rubles.
