Ukraine asked Apple to stop deliveries of products to Russia

Ukrainian Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov asked Apple CEO Tim Cook to stop deliveries of products to Russia. In addition, he wants Russians to be blocked from accessing the App Store. He published a copy of his appeal in his Telegram channel.

The politician explained his appeal by the beginning of a Russian special operation in the Donbass. According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine and ordinary citizens defend the country to the end, but they need support. The introduction of the restrictive measures he announced, in his opinion, should encourage many Russians to seek an end to “military aggression.”

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asked Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett to mediate in negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Presumably, the strategic partnership between Israel and Russia in Syria and elsewhere may have contributed to such a request.
