ZTE has announced a line of flagship smartphones for gamers Nubia Red Magic 7. This is reported by GSMArena, citing company materials.
The series of presented devices includes two devices – Red Magic 7 and 7 Pro. Smartphones are based on the top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and are distinguished by the presence of a Red Core 1 chip that handles some tasks. The gadgets also received game triggers, a cooling system with a nine-layer structure, and a dedicated fan. Experts call Red Magic 7 devices one of the most powerful smartphones on the market.

The base Red Magic 7 received a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with support for frequencies up to 165 hertz and a maximum brightness of 600 nits, the device has from 8 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of internal memory. On the back of the device is a triple camera with 64, 8 and 2 megapixel lenses, on the front there is an 8 megapixel front camera, the phone has a 4500 milliamp-hour battery with support for fast wired charging with a power of 120 watts.
The top 7 Pro differs from the starting model with a screen with a refresh rate of up to 120 hertz and a brightness of up to 700 nits, a version with 18 gigabytes of RAM and one terabyte of internal memory located under the front camera display with a resolution of 16 megapixels. It also has a 5,000 milliamp-hour battery with support for 135-watt fast charging.
Both models have support for a special Red Magic Studio application, which allows you to transfer screen content wirelessly with a refresh rate of 120 hertz, wired – 165 hertz. The devices come with Android 12 OS and Red Magic 5.0 proprietary shell.
The cost of the base Red Magic 7 is 555 euros, or about 48 thousand rubles. The top Red Magic 7 Pro with 18 gigabytes of RAM and one terabyte of internal memory will cost 1040 euros, or about 91 thousand rubles.
At the end of January, ZTE announced that its upcoming gaming smartphone Nubia Red Magic 7 set an AnTuTu benchmark record. In synthetic tests, the flagship became the first smartphone to break the million points mark with 1,101,769 points.
