According to the media catalog, a device with 64 gigabytes of internal memory was available for at least 55 thousand rubles. At the start of sales, the device was sold for 80 thousand rubles. Thus, the cost of the iPhone 12 has decreased by more than a third.
This phone is still sold in the Apple online store and from the company’s partners. Here, the device in the basic version can be purchased for 65 thousand rubles. The cheaper smartphone in the domestic market is explained by the fact that after the announcement of the new line – iPhone 13 – stores began to reduce the price of older models.
Along with the iPhone 12, the iPhone 12 mini also fell in price. A compact device, available on the Apple website for 55 thousand rubles, can be purchased on the Russian market for 40-45 thousand rubles.
The much-demanded iPhone 12 was introduced in October 2020. The model received a 6.1-inch OLED display, an Apple A14 Bionic chip, four gigabytes of RAM, a dual camera with 12 megapixel lenses each, and a 2815 milliamp-hour battery.
In early February, journalists noticed that the iPhone 13 fell in price in Russia by more than 15 percent. Available for 60 thousand rubles, the model at the start of sales was offered for 80 thousand rubles.
