The experts also found that the neural system of the iPhone 13 Pro Max, which is responsible for AI computing and neural network image processing, turned out to be more productive than that of a competitor. In the test, Apple’s flagship received 948 points, Samsung’s most powerful device at the moment – 448 points.
The test results did not surprise the experts. The authors noted that the Apple A15 Bionic chip installed in the iPhone 13 Pro Max turned out to be much more powerful than the previous generation processor. At the same time, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip used in the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra did not turn out to be radically more productive than the Snapdragon 888. So, GFXBench tests showed that in some tasks Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is 20 percent more powerful than the previous generation processor.
The announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra took place on February 9th. A top-end phone with a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen, a triple camera with lenses with a resolution of 108, 10, 10 and 12 megapixels, one terabyte of internal memory, a battery with a capacity of 4000 milliamp-hours was estimated in Russia at 155 thousand rubles.
