The gadget from Samsung will receive a “monobrow”

Samsung will release a tablet with a screen cutout. Reported by the edition 91Mobiles.

According to an insider under the nickname OnLeaks, Samsung is preparing a tablet with a “monobrow”. The screen cutout will be located on the display of the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, the top-end gadget of the new line. As noted by the specialist, the Korean company began developing this device long before Apple showed its laptop with a “monobrow”.

The screen element that the tablet will receive will reduce the size of the frames on the display. At the same time, as in the new MacBook Pro, only the front camera is built into the “monobrow” – there is no biometric sensor for unlocking the gadget with a face. The author also noticed that only the top model of the series will receive a cutout: Galaxy Tab S8 and Tab S8 + will come out with a regular screen.

According to OnLeaks, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will come with a 14.6-inch screen, a dual camera and a USB-C port. The Galaxy Tab S8 and Tab S8 + will have 11 and 12.4-inch displays, respectively. The devices will be announced in November or early December.

Apple unveiled the first laptop with a screen cutout on October 18. MacBook Pro received a Mini-LED screen with a diagonal of 14 or 16 inches, an M1 Pro or M1 Max chip, up to 64 gigabytes of RAM, and MagSafe magnetic charging.
