Valve, the owner of the Steam platform, announced the winners of the Steam Awards 2021 plebiscite, in which players themselves vote for their favorites. It was awarded the title of the game of the year Resident Evil Villagewhich turned out to be better than Valheim, New World, Cyberpunk 2077 and Forzy Horizon 5.
Interestingly, Cyberpunk 2077 itself also received the awardbut in a different category. The CD Projekt game was awarded for its story. Other nominees in the “Game with a great story” category are: Life is Strange True Colors, Resident Evil Village, Days Gone and Mass Effect: Legendary Edition.
Steam platform users also appreciated other Polish production. Cooking Simulator VR from the Wastelands Interactive studio won in the category “VR Game of the Year “, pokonując Sniper Elite VR, Medal of Honor Above and Beyond, I Expect You To Die 2 oraz Blair Witch VR Edition.
