Revealed ways to save smartphone battery power in cold weather

In order for the smartphone to work in the cold, you need to buy a device with a glass or plastic case, reports “Channel Five” with reference to experts.

Modern devices on Android and IOS most often cannot withstand temperatures below 35 degrees. At the same time, the constant presence of the smartphone in the cold can disrupt the process of transition of the cathode to the anode – a negative charge to a positive one.

Phones with an aluminum casing discharge the fastest, so experts advise purchasing devices with a glass one. The most frost-resistant are plastic gadgets, which “endure” up to minus 35 degrees.

Fully charge your phone before going outside in winter, experts have revealed one way to conserve energy. On the street it should be kept in the inner pocket of the jacket, warm. In a cold bag, the smartphone will cool down quickly. You can save a charge by using a case. It is forbidden to keep the gadget in the cold for more than ten minutes. Experts added that it is not recommended to charge the phone with an external battery in the cold.

If these tips do not help, you can go into a warm room and charge your smartphone, letting it “warm up” for a few minutes.

Earlier it was reported that smartphone manufacturers are preparing to release a device with support for ultra-fast charging with a capacity of 150 watts or more.
