Cirp: Apple will produce cheap smartphones every year, the next – iPhone 17e
Apple’s corporation intends to produce inexpensive smartphones every year. This was reported by analysts at Cirp.
Experts noted that the starting cost of the iPhone 16e, represented on February 19, is $ 599, or about 52 thousand rubles. This is a significant increase in comparison with the iPhone SE, which cost $ 429, but still lower than the cost of the iPhone $ 16 – 799. The material says that now Apple will release such gadgets annually.
In this regard, Cirp experts are sure that in February-March 2026 the American company will represent the iPhone 17E. The device will be cheaper than the rest of the iPhone 17 series smartphones and will receive many functions of new devices.
The agency’s experts also recalled other cheap Apple phones released earlier – the iPhone 5C and iPhone SE. According to them, the iPhone 5C amounted to more than a quarter of sales of all Apple smartphones in the first few quarters in 2013-2014.
