Oppo Find N5 has become the thinnest folding smartphone with a thickness of 8.93 mm
The Oppo Chinese corporation introduced the Find N5 folding smartphone. It is reported by the GSM Arena publication.
Media journalists called Oppo Find N5 a recordly thin folding smartphone and noted that a leader was replaced in the rating of the most compact folding devices. In a folded state, the thickness of the device body is 8.93 millimeters, in the decomposed – 4.21 millimeters. The previous most thin folding phone was the Honor Magic V3 – in a folded state, the thickness of the gadget body is 9.2 millimeters.
Oppo said that they managed to achieve a record indicator thanks to the new Titanium Flexion hinge, which is 26 percent less than the joint of the previous company smartphone. Also, thanks to the use of titanium and carbon fiber, the weight of the case was reduced to 229 grams.
The Oppo Find N5 received an 8.12-inch LTPO OLED display with an aspect ratio of 9.9: 9 and with a frequency of up to 120 Herz. The second screen LTPO OLED received the size of 6.62 inches. The device is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, has 16 gigabytes of RAM and 512 gigabytes of internal memory. On the rear panel of the smartphone there is a triple camera with a resolution of 50, 50 and 8 megapixels. The phone came out with a battery with a capacity of 5600 mililampers.
Sales of Oppo Find N5 will begin on February 28. The flagship was estimated at at least 8999 yuan, or about 110 thousand rubles.
At the end of January, Samsung Corporation said that in the near future they would present a smartphone folding three times. The company also plan to release the headset virtual and supplemented reality and smart glasses.
