In the Windows Insiders blog, Microsoft specialists announced the support of Apple smartphones in the Windows 11 beta version. Now, when connecting the device to the computer, a window with settings and quick access to the device will appear in the Stound menu.

In 2024, a similar opportunity appeared among Android users. Microsoft noted that iPhone support will allow the owners of Apple smartphones to check the battery level, messages and calls to the computer screen without raising the phone. At the same time, access to the iPhone media phalam will be limited.

The company also said that the new function appeared in versions of Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 4805 and 26120.3000. To display the iPhone in the Start menu, Bluetooth should be included on the phone, the computer must also support the connection via Bluetooth LE.

At the end of January, the specialists of the American Corporation Microsoft added protection against fake malicious programs to the Edge browser. The new option warns users from the type of scareware associated with the robber viruses.
