Users were warned against self -repair PC

The authors of the XDA publication advised not to clean PC with liquid and disassemble the power supply

Journalists of the XDA publication listed a computer service, which cannot be performed independently at home. The list is available on the media website.

First of all, experts allocated dangerous processor maintenance work. They warned users against scalping the chip, that is, removing the external metal casing in order to improve the characteristics of the chip. In addition, due to a high risk of breakdown, it is not recommended to independently repair the socket-a connector in the motherboard for installing the processor.

The authors emphasized that users should by no means disassemble the PC power supply-including due to the risk of current damage in contact with one of the capacitors. “Buying a new power supply is the best choice than to risk life, repairs the old one,” experts advised. They also noticed that professionals often clean computers with isopropyl alcohol, but an amateur can damage the internal components with liquid.

In conclusion, the material noted an extremely low chance of success with independent repair of hard drives. “The insides of the hard drive is extremely fragile, and can be easily broken if you do not know what to do,” the authors summed up.

At the end of January, Apple released a series of updates for its gadgets that correct a dangerous vulnerability. The update was prepared for smartphones, computers, tablets, smart watches and other devices.
