Bloomberg: All iPhone 16s Will Get a Powerful Chip and 8GB of Memory for Working with AI
Next fall, the American company Apple will present four smartphones. This is reported by Bloomberg.
According to reviewer Mark Gurman, the IT giant intends to release four smartphones – iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max. However, the sizes of some devices will change: the screen of the regular Pro model will increase from 6.1 to 6.3 inches, Pro Max – from 6.7 to 6.9 inches. The main flagship devices will be released in a new color “rose gold”.
Gurman believes that all smartphones of the new series will receive a powerful A18 processor and 8 gigabytes of RAM. This is necessary so that the devices can work with the Apple Intelligence artificial intelligence (AI) service. Apple’s neural network is demanding of the technical characteristics of the device: of the current smartphones of the brand, only the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max can work with it, also having 8 gigabytes of RAM.
In addition, all four models will receive the Action Button, which was added only to flagship devices in 2023. The iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max gadgets will have an additional button for advanced camera control.
Earlier it became known that Apple launched mass production of iPhone 16 series smartphones. The corporation intends to produce the first batch of devices by September.
