On Thursday, August 15, a Gazeta.pl reader informed us about the ongoing internet outage of Vectra. As she indicated, the problem with access to the services of this provider of internet, television and telephone appeared the previous morning. “Since yesterday morning, Vectra has been battling a global outage throughout Poland,” she wrote to our editorial office. She emphasized that the internet works “very slowly, it stutters and breaks.”
Something is happening with Vectra’s internet. Avalanche of reports
We tried to contact the company. At the time of publication of the article, we did not receive a response. Our reader indicated that she reported the fault to the hotline on the morning of August 14. She was informed that the problem would be fixed the same day, by 2:00 p.m. “When I called on Wednesday at 9:30 p.m., the planned time for fixing the fault was extended to midnight on August 16,” she wrote.
Internet problems are also reported under posts on Vectra’s Facebook page. “Playing is not possible, watching anything is a lottery, will it work or not. And if it does, it will be in VHS quality”, What’s wrong with the internet that it works terribly?”, “What’s going on that I haven’t had internet in Piaseczno for a few hours?” – we read under posts from the last few days. For some of them (those from two and three days ago), users received a response from the site’s administration: “We regret to inform you that in the given location we have noticed a failure, which will be fixed as soon as possible. We apologize for any irregularities”. For more recent complaints on social media, Vectra asks those reporting to fill out forms or contact us by phone.
Problems are also reported in large numbers on the portal. Over the past 24 hours (from 14 to 15 August, 8:00 p.m.), 94 percent of reports concerned stationary internet. The rest – television or no signal. As we read in the comments, one of the users was supposed to receive similar information during a conversation with a consultant as our reader, i.e. the outage is to be nationwide and will end on Friday. However, the time given for the removal of the problems differs – the internet user says 4 p.m. When we receive a response from Vectra, the article will be updated.
