We haven’t yet determined in which jurisdictions we will sue Meta. We will make a decision in the next few weeks,” said the Polish billionaire.

Reuters emphasizes that this would be “the latest in a series of attempts around the world to hold the internet giant accountable for ads that continue to appear despite users reporting them to the company.” Meanwhile, a Meta spokesman says the company removes fake ads from its platforms as soon as it becomes aware of their existence and cooperates with authorities in the context of combating fraudsters.

Rafał Brzoska, in turn, emphasizes that he notified the owner of Facebook and Instagram about the problem at the beginning of July, “but a solution could not be found”. – We are considering absolutely all scenarios, including a lawsuit in the United States if no action is taken in Europe – adds the owner of InPost. Brzoska said that he and his wife will demand that Meta stop profiting from promoting content that violates their rights, as well as transferring a large amount of compensation to charity, corresponding to the level of advertising revenues generated by disseminating this type of disinformation.
