Apple to Release Black iPhone for First Time in Years
It has become known what colors Apple has chosen for the iPhone 16 series smartphones. This is reported by the Appleinsider publication.
Well-known insider Sonny Dixon published in his X a photo of what is presumably the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max smartphones. Judging by the photos, the flagships will be released in three colors – Space Black, White and Natural Titanium. According to media journalists, the Space Black version is very similar in color to the classic black iPhones that Apple released several years ago.
The article says that the last Apple smartphone in “true” black was the iPhone 7, which came out eight years ago. Then the company’s designers began experimenting with the appearance of the devices and more often used shades of black, as well as silver, yellow, green, gold and other colors.
The Natural Titanium variant, which Sonny Dixon also talked about, resembles a similar color that appeared in the iPhone 15 Pro line. It is also still unknown what colors the starting smartphones of the series will be available in. According to the authors of Appleinsider, next fall Apple will introduce four devices – the basic iPhone 16 and 16 Plus and the advanced iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max.
At the end of July, it became known that Apple intends to launch production of new flagship smartphones outside of China. The company will begin production of the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max in India.
