iPhone 15 Gets Cheaper in Russia

Hi-Tech Mail.ru: iPhone 15 price dropped to 70 thousand rubles

The iPhone 15, released a year ago, has become 40 percent cheaper in Russia. This was noted by the publication Hi-Tech Mail.ru.

According to media journalists, at the start of sales the phone was available for 125-170 thousand rubles – the high price was caused by a shortage. In mid-summer, the cost of the device dropped by about 40 percent, to 70 thousand rubles.

“The iPhone 15 smartphone is the cheapest model in its line,” the authors of the publication noted. In addition to it, the series includes the iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

The device came out with a glass case, a 6.1-inch OLED display with a frequency of 60 Hz, a Dynamic Island screen cutout. The device also received an A16 Bionic processor, 6 gigabytes of RAM and at least 128 gigabytes of built-in memory. On the back panel of the gadget there is a dual camera with lenses with a resolution of 64 and 12 megapixels.

The phone has a 3349 mAh battery, IP68 water resistance, 4K video recording support, stereo speakers, and Face ID.

In early July, it became clear that the iPhone with a large display, which was presented in 2023, had become cheaper on the Russian market. If at the start of sales, the iPhone 14 Plus was priced at 95 thousand rubles, then in mid-summer it fell in price to 65 thousand rubles.
