Motorola has announced the imminent release of the Razr foldable smartphone. This is reported by the publication GSMArena.
The journalists drew attention to the publication in the Chinese social network Weibo of the executive director of Lenovo, which owns the Motorola delirium. In it, a top manager of the company said that the corporation plans to release a new generation of folding phone. The post says that the model will be improved in terms of performance, and it will also receive a redesigned interface.
An image of the future flagship from the side was attached to the publication, according to which the new device will receive the same form factor as the current Razr devices. The company did not disclose the characteristics of the gadget, but clarifies that the smartphone was created using “100 percent original technologies” developed by Lenovo.
The journalists noted that the Motorola Razr will be released first in China and then go on sale in the global market. Experts attribute this to the fact that in the local market for Lenovo, competition among manufacturers of folding devices is extremely high.
The latest in the line of foldable devices, the Motorola Razr smartphone was released in the fall of 2020. The device received a main 6.2-inch display and an additional 2.7-inch screen, a Snapdragon 765G chip with 5G support, eight gigabytes of RAM, a single 48-megapixel camera. The smartphone appeared on the Russian market in April 2021, the device was estimated at 120 thousand rubles.
