Bloomberg: Apple will release record-thin iPhone in 2025

Apple has begun working on reducing the size of its gadgets. Bloomberg reports this.

According to agency observer Mark Gurman, with the release of the iPad Pro on May 7, the American corporation laid the foundation for the creation of thinner devices. By 2025, the company planned to release a record thin smartphone – it will be the iPhone 17.

“Apple has figured out how to make its devices thinner again while adding important new features,” Gurman said. According to him, the new technology will allow the release of other devices with ultra-thin bodies – primarily the MacBook Pro laptop and the Apple Watch.

At the same time, in recent years, on the contrary, there has been a tendency to increase the size of devices. Gurman recalled that thanks to the increased sizes, the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max received more capacious batteries and advanced cameras. Also, MacBook Pro line computers came with more advanced batteries. In addition, the Apple Watch Ultra smart watch has a large battery.

At the end of May, sources told The Information that Apple would release the most expensive and thinnest iPhone in 2025. Insiders called the importance of the iPhone 17 Pro Max release comparable to the release of the iPhone X in 2017.
