Another farmer, known for his activities in the “Oszukana Wieś” association, explains that currently agriculture is based on technology. When there are GPS disruptions, work stops and is paralyzed – says the farmer. Jamming, i.e. disturbing the GPS signal
GPS jamming is aimed primarily at signals emitted from enemy radars in order to confuse their operation. Wyborcza.biz emphasizes that “these are the activities of our services that have intensified recently, but started this spring.” The National Security Office did not respond to questions about jamming at the border. At the beginning of May we informed that we were going to Tartu in Estonia due to GPS signal interference. The Finns said the disruptions were probably a “side effect” of actions taken by Russia. The Finnish transport agency Traficom noticed that interference with the GPS signal intensified when the first Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian energy infrastructure occurred in January this year. Let us recall that according to the information provided by the British government, when the British Minister of Defense was returning to the country from a visit to Poland.
