MacRumors: Fourth-generation iPhone SE will cost no more than $500

According to the specialist, the company is working on the next device of the SE family. At Apple, according to Revegnus, the task is to maintain an affordable price for the device. The material says that the new device will most likely cost $429, or about 39 thousand rubles. The third generation iPhone SE costs the same.
At the same time, the author admits that Apple will have to raise the price slightly – due to inflation, new materials and other reasons. However, this smartphone will not cost more than $500.
MacRumors journalists told how Apple is going to keep prices affordable for the device. Most likely, the company will use outdated OLED panels, which were used to create the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 smartphones. In this case, the company will not have to invest additionally in research and development.
The new iPhone SE is due out in the spring of 2025. The gadget will receive an OLED display with Face ID, the screen size will increase from 4.7 to 6.1 inches.
