The studio is built from the very foundations. “It will be a core, stand-alone studio that aims to create an environment that inspires bold and diverse ideas. The team’s core mission will be to encourage everyone to explore and collaborate creatively to create a franchise that will leave a lasting legacy that impacts far beyond video games.” – we read.
The team will consist of storytelling professionals who have worked on titles such as “The Last of Us”, “Uncharted”, “The Witcher”, “Cyberpunk 2077”, “Destiny”, “Tom Clancy’s”, “The Division” and “Far Cry”. Activision ensures that Elsewhere will receive full access to their resources and tools. Additionally, the studio is launching a search for top talent from across the industry and the world who will help create a “next-generation cutting-edge gaming experience.”

Activision has been operating on the market since 1979. The company produced and published games such as Quake, Doom, the Tony Hawk’s series, Call of Duty, Wolfenstein, Total War and Destiny. In 2007, they merged with Blizzard, which in turn had in its portfolio, among others, Starcraft, World of Warcraft or Diablo. The deal was worth $69 billion, making it the largest in the history of the video game industry.
